When you look for a cutting table to make your blankets or quilts, you want one that is going to the job that you need it to do. This means that you need to have the right height of table to ensure that you do not get a sore and painful back when you are working and not only that but you want one that is big enough to be able to fulfill the task that you want it to do. If you do not have a designated space or room for your cutting table, you may want to consider one that has casters so that you can move it about to the right lighting conditions and the area in which you want to work at that time. Not only that but it makes it much easier to move and then store your cutting table when you do not want to use it.
Some designs of cutting table have a mat on the top to ensure that the table itself does not get damaged during the cutting of fabrics and other such materials process. There is no real need for this but if you have spent a lot of money on your cutting table, you want to preserve it for as long as possible so it is wise to give this some thought.
